modular system microscopy, image documentation & evaluation by S+L

The beginning of light microscopy date back to the 15th Century. Around the middle
of the 17th Century microscopy was used in the natural sciences for the first time, and
consequently won in scientific importance. The observations through the microscope
changed the imagination of the people and carried forward in this way, the progress
in scientific disciplines. Even today, the light microscopes are among the most
important research tools in the field of natural sciences such as: medicine, biology,
mineralogy and materials science.

With today's possibilities of modern, modular light microscopy and the use of different
contrast method microscopy is used not only in science but is also an important
instrument in the areas of quality assurance and quality control. The modular system
microscope of S + L covers a large field in materials microscopy.

Our microscopes from a German manufacturing are particularly characterized by a high
optical image quality and flexibility. For example, the different system components in
each microscope assemblies are interchangeable. This means that for example in the
material science reflected light microscopy, the lenses, lighting components and the
various contrast methods are interchangeable.

The same high flexibility goes for in the program contained all kinds of special microscopes, stereo microscopes and the entire range of macroscopic image viewing and documentation.

The modular design and high flexibility of the S + L system microscopes, we give the user the ability to put together a customized microscope for their needs. Thus, the cost of acquisition will be kept as low as possible.

Subsequent upgrading and retrofitting, with the contrast enhancement process is possible at any time.

To the modular system microscope is its documentation and evaluation of the microscopic and macroscopic pictures an integral part.

The S + L offered software-, documentation- and surveying systems, include the entire field of quantitative image measurement. These software components range from the image documentation, image storage, manual image measurement to fully automatic image analysis and complex image database systems.

The cooperation with leading German software manufacturers ensures that we are always on the cutting edge of technology in the area of quantitative image analysis. As a further advantage, we offer the option if necessary to develop customer specific applications.

NAZAR, the microscopes with high power for studies of metals and other materials. The light microscope has a coaxial coarse and fine drive and, depending on the requirements, can be fitted with a standard mechanical stage or turntable. Optionally, a polarization equipment and a modern high-power LED white light illumination technology is available.

The device includes a standard magnification of 50x-1000x with a resolution of 0.049 microns. The field of view is 8 - 0.2 mm.

Below is a figure showing the sharpness of microscopes NAZAR - NAZAR AM5 with optics 100:1 - magnification means Sharpness: glass scale with a pitch 10 microns.

The trinocular tube delivers large upright fields of view for optimal visual insight and the ability of digital documentation. The main application of the NAZAR AM5 is the microscopic quality control in industry and research and development.
